Steps have been taken to temporarily close the Dambulla Economic Centre for a period of three days with immediate effect.
The decision was taken after it was reported that 42 employees were infected with COVID-19.
Disinfection procedures have commenced at the Dambulla Economic Centre premises and the centre will reopen next Thursday. All who come to the centre must get a PCR test, the health officials said.
