Darshana appointed to Dilmah Ceylon Tea Company Board

MJF Holdings Ltd. Chief Financial Officer Darshana Gunasekera has been appointed to the Board of Dilmah Ceylon Tea Company Plc as an Executive Director with effect from 1 October.

Gunasekera is a double qualified accountant, Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of UK and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of UK. He holds a B.Sc. degree from University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is also qualified in Marketing.

He has over 24 years of working experience having worked in leading local and multinational companies before joining MJF Group over five years ago.

With the appointment the Board of Directors Dilmah Ceylon Tea Plc will comprise Merrill J. Fernando (Chairman), H.S. Ranaweera (Deputy Chairman), D.C. Fernando (CEO), D. Fernando, M.J. Fernando, M. Perera, R. Tissaaratchy, R.N. Asirwatham, G.E. Chitty and Darshana Gunasekera.
