Deepal Abeywickrema to take over as Nestlé Bangaldesh MD

Deepal Abeywickrema, currently Senior Vice President – Sales for Nestlé Lanka, has been appointed Managing Director for Nestlé Bangladesh.

Backed by 32 years of experience in five Nestlé markets worldwide, Deepal’s unique know-how across a diverse range of businesses, geographies, and consumer behaviours has seen him leave a traila of successes in his career, with a reputation for delivering results and turning around businesses in the most challenging of conditions.

Deepal’s strength lies in the sales, marketing and food service functions, where he was responsible for initiating many projects that remain the driving force of these functions in many Nestlé markets today.
