Delta Estate sets another all-time record price

Delta Estate re-established an all-time record price of Rs. 1,400 per kg for a BPI grade in the CTC Medium Grown category for the second consecutive week at the tea auction held on 5 October.

It surpassed the previous record price of Rs. 1,360 per kg achieved for the same grade which was obtained at the tea auction held last week. This line of tea was purchased by Stassen Exports on behalf of Beta Tea.

Delta Estate located in Pupuressa comes under the purview of Pussellawa Plantations Ltd., which is part of the Damro Group. This invoice of tea was marketed and sold by broker John Keells PLC.
