Economist Talal Rafi appointed Policy Advisor to Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa

Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa has appointed Talal Rafi as his Policy Advisor. 

Rafi is an Economist and is an economic policy consultant to a multilateral development bank. He is a regular contributor for the International Monetary Fund’s expert forum on public finance. He is also a member of the expert network of the World Economic Forum. He was a member of the Deloitte Global Economist Network, and he is a visiting lecturer at the Centre for Banking Studies, Central Bank of Sri Lanka. He has also worked on projects by the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and USAID. His work has been published by the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Asian Development Bank, World Economic Forum, Chatham House London, London School of Economics and Forbes.
