Engineers’ Guild of Sri Lanka AGM and technical session today

The 41st Annual General Meeting and Technical session of Engineers’ Guild of Sri Lanka will be held today (4 September 2023) at 6.00 p.m. at the Organisation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka-OPASL, Colombo 7.

The event will be chaired by EGSL President Eng: H.P.R.K. Rupasinghe whilst the Chief Guest will be Engineering Council of Sri Lanka Chairman Thilak De Silva and Guest of honour will be The Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission Chairman Udeni Wickramasinghe.

Keynote will be delivered by Inst. Of Development (MIND) Founder Chairman and MIND group Prof: Mohan Munasinghe.

The formation of EGSL in 1981 was the brainchild of the late Prof. E.O.E. Pereira (University of Ceylon Faculty of Engineering former Dean, whom all recognise as the father of Engineering education in Sri Lanka) and floated deliberation with late Eng. L.R.L. Perera (Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka Past President and OPA Past President) and a few others.

EGSL brought all engineers, together under one umbrella and is registered itself with the Registrar of Companies and a member Association of OPA.
