Exterminators appoints Chaaminda Ratnayake as the Chairman

Exterminators Ltd., Sri Lanka’s premier environmental enhancement solutions provider appointed Chaaminda Ratnayake as the Chairman cum Non-Executive Independent Director. 

Chaaminda Warnaranga Ratnayake specialised as a strategic management expert in multifarious programs covering the areas of operational excellence, ESG management, digital supply chain, integrated work systems, strategic human resources including change management, regenerative leadership and ambidexterity, enterprise resource optimisation, industry 4.0 and digital disruptions. 

Currently he engages as an enterprise system and lean 4.0 specialist for Printcare Group, SAP and change management external consultant for John Keells Holdings, industry 4.0 strategist for Atlas Axilia. Furthermore, he works as a strategic management consultant for Sri Lanka Institute of Printing. 

During the last three years, his major contributions for the manufacturing industry domain could be stated as the introduction of pragmatic approach of integrated quality management eco-system for Printcare Group and mathematical model for automatic expiry tracking for the Keells Super Market chain. Also, he worked as a lead consultant in inventory optimisation program at Lanka Tiles and ROCEL Group aiming Rs. 250-300 million savings per annum. 

He is one of few trained facilitators in Sri Lanka for industry revolution 4.0 and digital operations management strategies for MBA programs of Australian Institute of Management and University of Bedfordshire – UK under the Oxford College of Business, Sri Lanka. Also he was a senior visiting lecturer of faculty of graduate studies, University of Colombo for ERP, MRP, strategic inventory optimisation and manufacturing planning and control in masters in manufacturing management program. 

He works at NSBM as visiting lecturer under the areas of project risk and quality management and project human resource management. Chaaminda Ratnayake studied at Royal College, Colombo and obtained his Masters in Manufacturing Management from the University of Colombo in 2009. 

He worked as Deputy General Manager – Supply Chain and Manufacturing Processes at Aitken Spence Printing & Packaging Ltd. from 2013-2018. He was a senior SAP – PP/QM/PM consultant for John Keells Holdings, Strategic Group IT and worked as a senior manager ERP and group quality assurance manager at Printcare Group (2001-2009).
