Exterminators posts best 3Q results since inception

Exterminators PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier pest tech and environmental enhancement technology company, yesterday announced its interim financial results for the first nine months of FY23, posting the best ever 3Q and nine-month results since inception.

During the first nine months of FY23, the revenue increased by 37%, gross profit by 29%, operating profit by 29%, profit before tax by 63%, net profit by 62%, earnings per share increased by 27% and the net assets per share increased by 26% even during the prevailing economic crisis. 

The company dividend payout in 2022 was Rs. 31.5 million, which included a cash dividend of Rs. 14 million and a scrip dividend amounting to Rs. 17.4 million. 

In January 2023 the company ventured into ‘Agriculture’ by setting up its first flagship ‘Agri Store’ in Dambulla, under the brand name ‘Enviotech’ to cater to the agricultural sector, plantation sector, livestock, landscape, and hotel sectors by supplying novel energy saving, environmentally sustainable international brands and technologies. With three branches operating in Colombo, Kandy and Dambulla, the Company has set in place the necessary groundwork to expand to several key cities on the island. Therefore, we have set our sights on expanding our footprint by opening branches in Hambantota, Galle and Jaffna. With a captive business presence in the Maldives, the Company plans to expand its global footprint in South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and India.

Exterminators PLC created history on the Colombo Stock Exchange by migrating to the ‘Diri Savi Board’, just over eight months upon listing on the ‘Empower Board’ of the CSE.
