Event to feature sessions on innovation tactics and finding the right fit

The Future of Business innovation strategy and learning event to be held tomorrow (23 October) will feature local and international champions and ‘doers’ of innovation. Participants will get a unique insight from those driving change in sectors such as retail, advertising, tourism, insurance and apparel.

The event will feature a session on Innovation Tactics that will have two presentations by McKinsey & Company Associate Partner Ankur Puri and MAS Holdings Ltd. DGM (Strategic Transformation) Tehani Renganathan. Puri will provide his experience based on supporting organisations in adopting advanced analytics while Renganathan will discuss on approaches to innovation from a private sector perspective.

The learning event will close with a plenary on ‘Moving on and Finding the Right FIT’ which will see two presentations by AIA Sri Lanka Director IT/Chief Technology Officer Umeshi de Fonseka, and Wilton Metal Box Co. Ltd. Managing Director Nissanga Warnapura. They will be joined by EFL Headquarters Chief Information Officer Ruwanthi Fernando in a panel discussion moderated by Microsoft Sri Lanka and Maldives Country Manager Hasitha Abeywardena.
