In today’s competitive business world, empowering women in leadership is essential for driving innovation and growth. As such, the Breaking Barriers: Women’s Development Journey event, organised by Great Place to Work Sri Lanka, is designed to equip women with the tools, mindset, and strategies to excel in leadership roles. This transformative workshop focuses on helping women overcome barriers, embrace their strengths, and navigate challenges, ensuring they thrive personally and professionally. Through expert-led discussions and interactive sessions, the workshop is designed to foster the next generation of female leaders.

Scheduled for 28 February 2025 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. the workshop will be facilitated by Senela Jayasuriya, a multi-award-winning Global CEO and leadership expert. 

As the Managing Director of Collective Leadership Global Ltd., (UK), Senela works with organisations to enhance employee wellbeing, productivity, and performance. She is also the Founder and CEO of Women Empowered Global, a leadership platform with members across six continents, empowering women in business, corporate sectors, and STEM fields. 

Senela’s workshops and programs have helped countless women step into leadership roles and increase their visibility both locally and internationally.

Attendees will gain practical tools and insights to strengthen their leadership skills. The workshop will cover key areas such as building self-confidence, overcoming imposter syndrome, breaking through professional barriers, and fostering a growth mindset. Participants will learn strategies for creating a positive self-image, building a personal brand aligned with their values, and developing a self-leadership framework for continuous growth. The workshop will also highlight the importance of emotional intelligence in professional success, equipping attendees to lead with empathy, navigate workplace dynamics, and inspire their teams.
