H2O1 in discussions with Water Board to enhance capacity building

  • Initiative aimed at ensuring sustainable and cost effective water supply in Sri Lanka

H2O ONE Ltd. (H2O1), one of the leading providers of water and wastewater solutions recently met with National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) Chairman  Nishantha Ranathunga, General Manager Eng. Thilina S. Wijetunge and other senior staff members at their Head office in Ratmalana. 

Both parties had wide ranging discussions covering several topics including strategies to reduce increasing treatment costs arising from higher levels of water pollution, roll out of new cost-efficient technologies and training of water professionals for the advancement of water treatment industry in Sri Lanka. 

The H2O1 team highlighted how they can attempt and assist in knowledge and best practices transfer from Singapore. 

H2O1 Sri Lanka CEO Eng. Chaminda Lakmal and Projects Engineer Sudesh Dias highlighted various new technologies currently being made available through H2O1 head office in Singapore and the recent discussion with the Central Environment Authority (CEA) on the protection of rivers and other surface water bodies.  

H2O1 is at the forefront of introducing new water technology to provide cost effective solutions in the Sri Lankan markets working closely with global and regional industry leaders.
