HNB opens 800th Smart Self Service Machine at Defence Headquarters Complex

The newly inaugurated Cash Recycle Machine

HNB recently inaugurated a Cash Recycle Machine (CRM) at the Digital Banking Zone, located within the Defence Headquarters Complex in Akuregoda, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte. 

The CRM marked an important milestone in HNB’s service offerings as HNB’s 800th Self Service Machine (SSM) in the nation. The advanced facility will provide the numerous personnel working at the complex with convenient access to self-banking needs such as withdrawals, deposits, real-time fund transfers, credit card settlements, cash to mobile withdrawals, mobile reloads, utility and other bill payments. 

Ministry of Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. HNB Digital Banking Senior Manager Chakshika Amarawardhana, HNB Employee Banking Senior Manager Piyakara Jayaratne, HNB Battaramulla Customer Centre Manager Dineth Rajapakse, senior officers of Defence Ministry and Tri-forces, and senior bank officials also participated in the event.
