Newly certified facility enhances Veterinary Pharmaceutical and Feed Supplement manufacturing

Marking a milestone for Sri Lanka’s agriculture sector, Hayleys Animal Health, a leader in the animal health industry, has achieved significant milestones in quality and safety with its newly established Veterinary Pharmaceutical and Feed Supplement manufacturing facility. The plant has been awarded several prestigious certifications, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, ISO 45001:2018, HACCP, and GMP.

This achievement underscores the company’s dedication to providing safe, effective and sustainable solutions for Sri Lanka’s animal health industry, ensuring better outcomes for veterinarians, farmers, and livestock. The awards ceremony, held at the manufacturing plant in Sapugaskanda, was attended by Hayleys PLC Executive Director and Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Ltd. Managing Director Jayanthi Dharmasena, Deputy Managing Director Lushan Abesekara, Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Director and Hayleys Animal Health General Manager Dr. Susantha Mallawa Arachchi, Research and Development and New Projects Manager Dr. Chathura Priyadarshana, and company officials.

Representing the international certifying body, Business Certification Systems, Australia Managing Director Sam Fernando also graced the event.
