High level Japanese business delegation in Sri Lanka to explore investment opportunities

 A top-level business delegation of Japanese investors exploring investment opportunities in Sri Lanka yesterday met with the Minister of Finance and Mass Media Mangala Samaraweera.

The delegation has arrived on an invitation by the Japan - Sri Lanka Joint Comprehensive Partnership (JCP) Secretariat under the Prime Minister’s office in the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Tokyo.

Promotion of investment and trade through the Japan-Sri Lanka Innovation Platform (JSLIP) is covered under the Japan-Sri Lanka Joint Comprehensive Partnership (JCP) agreement, inaugurated when Prime Ministers of Japan and Sri Lanka met in 2015 and agreed to promote development for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
