Holyrood Estate, Talawakele achieved an all time record price of Rs. 820 for a BOPsp grade in the western high grown category, at the weekly tea actions held on 14 February. This line of tea was purchased by M/s., Tea Tang Ltd., and marketed by M/s., Forbes and Walker Tea Brokers Ltd.

The factory is situated at an elevation of 1,342 metres above sea level and has a production capacity of approximately half a million kilos of made tea.
Holyrood is certified under Rain Forrest Alliance, ISO 22000 – Food Safety and Hygiene Management Standard, Ethical Tea Partnership and Food Safety Management System Certified for Manufacture of Black Tea. Bandara Dassanayake is the Manager of this estate and M/s Talawakele Plantations PLC is the managing agent.
