Hospitality industry expert Mangala Wijesekera appointed CEO of SriLankan Catering

Mangala Wijesekera was the former Chief Operating Officer for overseas hotel operations of the Aitken Spence Hotels Group and counts over 23 years of corporate experience in the hospitality industry in Sri Lanka and overseas. He has extensive knowledge of the industry, project management, hotel management, finance, administration, and property operations gained by working in different countries and with industry professionals in Sri Lanka, Maldives, India, and Oman.

He has a B.Sc. from the University of Colombo, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, a Master Certificate in Hospitality Management from the Cornell University, USA, and has undergone executive training in international management at Stanford Graduate School of Business, California, and NUS Business School in Singapore.
