At this week’s auction, an invoice of BOP1 sold under the Inverness Mark of Nuwara Eliya Estate, achieved a record equalling price of Rs. 1,400 per kg for the grade. This tea was purchased by Euro Scan Exports Ltd. Nuwara Eliya Estate is part of Kelani Valley Plantations PLC, a member of the Hayleys Group of Companies. This tea was successfully marketed by Asia Siyaka Commodities PLC.
