Due to the Sri Lankan Government’s measures to tackle the spread of COVID-19, the Japan Visa Application Centre will be closed until 20 March 2020, the Embassy of Japan announced yesterday.
“We will endeavour to contact customers who already have appointments booked, though we will not be able to reschedule your appointment until the Centre is re-opened,” it said.
All visa applications will be accepted from 23 March 2020 as per the normal procedure.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.”
Applicants are requested to contact 0765866578 only for urgent inquiries during this period.
