Katpaham Super Centre to promote palmyrah products 

In a bid to distribute palmyrah based products from the Northern and Eastern Provinces, a dedicated store was opened recently in Negombo.

Named Katpaham Super Centre, the outlet provides all palmyrah-based products under one roof. 

The super centre was established under the purview of the Palmyrah Development Board to support producers and to popularise palmyrah based products among the general public.

The outlet was opened by Rural Roads and Other Infrastructure State Minister Nimal Lanka Coconut, Kithul and Palmyrah Cultivation Promotion and Related Industrial Product Manufacturing and Export Diversification State Minister Arundika Fernando on Monday (14) in Negombo.
