Kelani Cables employees recognised with prestigious CEO’s Awards for sales excellence

Kelani Cables PLC that produces Sri Lanka’s number one secure electrical and communication cables, honoured its outstanding salespersons with the CEO’s Award for the sixth consecutive year at the Water’s Edge with the participation of Kelani Cables PLC Director/CEO Mahinda Saranapala.  

Roshan de Silva was adjudged the ‘Best Ares Sales Manager’. Shanaka Athukorala was conferred with the ‘Best Sales Executive of the Year’ award. Nalin Samantilleke and Chinthaka Rajapakshe secured the second and third places of that category.

CEO’s Award winners Roshan de Silva and Shanaka Athukorala for becoming the best performers of the year were offered with cash awards and foreign trips in recognition for their achievements. They have exceeded sales targets of the company set for 2017/2018 to bring in record sales volumes.

Kelani Cables PLC Director/CEO Mahinda Saranapala said Kelani Cables does business with the theme; ‘480 Hearts, One Beat’ and the backbone of the company is its sales force.

He added, “CEO’s award is presented by Kelani Cables to two top performers annually who contribute towards sales excellence. This year’s award winners Shanaka Athukorala and Roshan de Silva have exceeded their sales targets to record massive individual sales volumes. I wish them very best on their achievements on behalf of the entire company.”
