LKI hosts roundtable discussion on ‘Sri Lanka’s Preparedness to Meet Emerging Global Economic Challenges’

A dialogue centred on strategic measures to enhance Sri Lanka’s economic resilience amidst a rapidly evolving global landscape was hosted by the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute (LKI) on 12 March, chaired by Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment Deputy Minister Arun Hemachandra.

Labour Minister and Economic Development Deputy Minister Prof. Anil Jayantha Fernando, Finance and Planning Deputy Minister Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma, MP Lakmali Hemachandra, Senior Economic Adviser to the President and The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Chairman Duminda Hulangamuwa, and LKI Executive Director Ambassador Ravinatha Aryasinha were associated with the Deputy Minister.

The discussion also benefitted from the expertise of Chairpersons of the Export Development Board and the Board of Investment, heads from several Ministries and institutions, trade chambers, and leading industry professionals.
