LMD launches international magazine

Sri Lanka’s pioneering business magazine, LMD, launched its first-of-a-kind international edition on Friday. Titled ‘LMD International,’ the magazine’s vision is to ‘connect Sri Lankans across the world.’

Speaking exclusively to the Daily FT, a spokesperson for the magazine’s publisher, Media Services, explained: “This quarterly edition is being circulated in print and digital formats, with most of the 1,000 hard copies to be sent overseas and around 30,000 copies of the digital edition to be circulated to all corners of the world.”

LMD international features prominent Sri Lankans living and working overseas, along with business news and key indicators of the homeland. Some of LMD’s recent cover features are also part of this edition, along with a few relevant transcripts from Media Services’ weekly digital program – LMDtv.

“We are also connecting the diplomatic community, business councils and trade associations around the world, along with Sri Lankans living overseas who have been featured in the local edition,” the spokesperson added.
