Labour Ministry launches WhatsApp hotline to address grievances

The Ministry of Labour has announced the introduction of a dedicated hotline to address issues faced by employees in both the public and private sectors.

The newly launched WhatsApp number, 070 7227877, aims to provide a platform for workers to lodge complaints and raise concerns about service-related matters efficiently.

In a move to enhance responsiveness, the Ministry stated that the initiative seeks to expedite the handling of grievances by both the Ministry and the Department of Labour. Employees can now report their issues directly via WhatsApp, ensuring quick and direct communication with the relevant authorities.

The initiative is expected to improve the Ministry’s commitment to improving its services and creating a more accessible channel for addressing workplace challenges.
