Lanka Hospitals Annual Report 2018 wins a string of awards

Lanka Hospitals, the internationally-accredited, multiple award-winning healthcare provider, won a string of local and international accolades recently for its Annual Report 2018. 

Lanka Hospitals received several prestigious awards including the Gold Award in the Healthcare Sector category which the hospital received for the first time at the 55th Annual Report Awards 2019 organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.  

The hospital also won the Best Integrated Report in the Healthcare Sector category at the CMA Excellence in Integrated Reporting Awards competition 2019, organised by the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA). Lanka Hospitals received the prestigious award from CMA for the third consecutive year having previously won the ten best integrated report award in the year 2018 and year 2017 as well. 

Lanka Hospitals’ Annual Report 2018 was also ranked among some of the world’s best annual reports at the 33rd ARC Awards Global Competition in South Korea where the hospital received a Silver Award for the first time. The ARC Awards International competition is the world’s largest, globally recognised competition that honours excellence in annual reports worldwide.

Lanka Hospitals is the first hospital in Sri Lanka to be awarded some of the most prestigious accreditations in the world for its healthcare service standards including the Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation since 2014, and the world respected Medical Tourism Certification from the Medical Travel Quality Alliance (MTQUA). Furthermore, Lanka Hospitals Diagnostics (LHD) is the only Sri Lankan laboratory to be accredited by the prestigious laboratory accreditation body, The College of American Pathologists (CAP).
