Minister Amunugama to be Chief Guest at 3rd International Statistics Conference

Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama will be the Chief Guest at the third International Statistics Conference (ISC) ‘Statistics for good Governance’ to be held on 28 December at 9 a.m. Taj Samudra hotel. Minister Ammunugama will deliver a special speech.

The third ISC will be organised by the Institute of Applied Statistics Sri Lanka (IASSL) in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Maryland Baltimore Country (UMBC), USA, the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa and National Science Foundation of Sri Lanka.

Two keynote speakers are Prof. Jessica Utts the 2016 President of the American Statistical Association (ASA), USA and Prof. Bimal Sinha UMBC, USA. Minister Dr. Amunugama will represent the President at this meeting.
