Minister Handunneththi pledges support for local industries during Lumala visit

Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Minister Sunil Handunneththi on Monday reaffirmed support to boost local industries during a visit to City Cycle Industries Manufacturing Ltd., commonly known as Lumala.

During the visit, he engaged with industrialists to discuss their challenges and needs.

He later shared on Facebook that the Government aims to take swift and effective action to address these concerns in line with its broader strategy to promote domestic manufacturing.

The Minister also acknowledged that local industrialists play a crucial role in the economy and assured them that the Government is working towards resolving key issues to create a more conducive environment for business growth.
