Minister Samarasinghe inspects Colombo Port cafeterias

In response to a complaint made by the Colombo harbour workers, Ports and Shipping Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe yesterday paid an inspection visit to the internal cafeterias of the Colombo Port. 

Minister Samarasinghe, who inspected the mid-day meal given to Port workers, discussed shortcomings of the meal and advised relevant officials to take immediate actions to upgrade the meals to the standard level. Sri Lanka Ports Authority Chairman Dr. Parakrama Dissanayake and a group of officials were present during the visit as well.
