Mobitel ends 2019 with the grand giveaway of 32nd luxury vehicle to Cash Bonanza winner

Keeping true to its promise of delighting customers with grand prizes and surprises, Mobitel rewarded the latest Benz Car to Kusumavathi Dharmasena from Alawwa, who became the lucky winner of Cash Bonanza for the month of November. Similarly, L.K. Nilmini who was placed second was bestowed with a generous Rs. 1,000,000 in cash and S.M.P. Priyangika, was granted Rs. 500,000. 

Offering super luxury brand new Benz Cars as giveaways for the winners of Cash Bonanza, Mobitel continues to make its mark as one of the most successful loyalty programs in Sri Lanka. Further, daily and the quarterly draws reward lucky winners with over Rs. 190 m in cash prizes, giving away Rs. 500 each for 220,000 lucky winners year around, making Mobitel, the only telecommunication company to run such a generous loyalty rewards scheme backed by an attractive marketing campaign. 

This year’s Cash Bonanza brought happiness and joy to the people in Weeraketiya as the crowds converged at the Weeraketiya George Rajapaksha Public Ground the venue to experience carnival like atmosphere. The event has also gained a reputation for providing a range of social responsibility initiatives under the patronage of Mobitel.  

Over 1,000 eyeglasses were distributed amongst ‘Upahara’ customers and the National Identity Card registration kiosk that was established at the Cash Bonanza premises for the ease of people seeking to obtain and renew their national identity cards. 

Further, Mobitel has added further sustainable value to its Cash Bonanza events by inviting visitors to bring along their E-waste, such as old computers, mobile phone batteries, printers and so on to its E-waste stall which collects E-waste and disposes/recycles them as per the environmental regulations to minimise any negative impact on the environment.

All prepaid, post-paid and broadband connection recharge or bill payment of 50 Rupees automatically gets qualified for the Mobitel Cash Bonanza draw. The customers with pre-paid connections would be entitled for an equal talk time reflective of the amount won and post-paid connections are entitled to receive a discount from the consecutive bill reflective of the amount won.
