NCCSL webinar on import-export issues faced by biz community

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka, in association with the Sri Lanka Customs, Department of Imports and Export Control, and Sri Lanka Export Development Board, will be organising a webinar on ‘Imports and Exports (Procedures/Current Amendments and Business Issues Faced by the Business Community in Sri Lanka)’ on 20 May from 10 a.m. onwards.

The objective of the webinar is to discuss import and export business issues together with import and export regulations and the way forward. The panellists who will be participating in the webinar include Damayanthi S. Karunarathne — Controller General of the Department of Imports and Exports Control; M. K. U. S. Fernando — Deputy Controller of the Department of Imports and Exports; S. R. P. Indrakeerthi — Director - Trade Facilitation and Trade Information of Sri Lanka Export Development Board; C. P. G. Punchihewa — Superintendent of Customs; and P. I. Udaya — Superintendent of Customs. The session will be moderated by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka. 

The target group includes directors, CEOs, supervisors, managers, and those who are interested and involved in imports and exports.
