NCE Gold award for HDDES

HDDES Extracts Ltd. is a market leader for extraction, distillation and fraction of agri-based products grown in Sri Lanka by giving value added form in which it contributes to prime success. Capturing Extra Large Gold Award for its compliance with sustainable business practices at the NCE award ceremony 2019 organised by the National Chamber of Exporters is one of the key achievements in 2019.   

Founded in 2001 by the visionary Chairman H.D.D.E. Silva, the organisation operates as a BOI organisation in the BOI processing zone Horana with the theme ‘Quality is our pride’.

The company is backed by a dedicated and committed top management team lead by Managing Director Gehan De Silva, Finance Director Mevan De Silva and Factory Director Jeevan De Silva, who have instrumental in the decision making process and future growth of the company. 

Quality control measures introduced such as ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 have enabled the organisation to achieve an unparalleled standard in the export market. The organisation extended its presence in markets such as the USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy Japan, China and India, etc. by catering its products to flavour and fragrances, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, perfumes, aroma essential oils and animal feed, etc., under the name HDDES. 

Most of the raw material is obtained through CSR projects, as a result uplifting rural life, which is a praiseworthy effort. The organisation conducts many programs under the support of many recognised bodies within the boundaries of Sri Lanka.
