The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE), the exclusive Chamber representing Sri Lankan Exporters, is spearheading a trade exhibition concurrently, under the banner ‘Sri Lanka Export Brands’ to showcase Sri Lankan export products and services.
This exhibition will be held from 17 to 20 February 2022, forming the ideal platform for Sri Lanka to create awareness for products and services and explore the immense opportunities of the Middle Eastern Region.
The Sri Lankan Business Council in Dubai & Northern Emirates, an organisation consisting of Sri Lankan entrepreneurs and senior professionals in the UAE with a mission to maintain, support, promote and encourage trade, investment, technical and economic co-operation, employment and tourism between Sri Lanka and the UAE has partnered with the NCE to promote the event and connect businesses with the exhibiting companies.
The exhibitors will benefit immensely as the event is within the Expo Dubai main event attracting large crowds targeting the B2B as well as B2C segments. The expo would like to ideally attract buyers from the UAE as well as other neighbouring countries, mainly from the Middle East and North Africa Region, and is fully supported by the Sri Lankan Mission in the UAE as well as the SL Missions in neighbouring Gulf countries.
Trade Chambers and Association in the Gulf region are working with the NCE to create awareness of the event among their members. As per the live event dates, and the recent announcement by the UAE that it would move its weekends to Saturday and Sunday at the start of the new year, where we expect regional visitors and also many UAE nationals to visit the event.
The NCE has launched a comprehensive marketing campaign in the Gulf region with the support of Sri Lankan Embassies, Trade Chambers, Business Councils and also contacting leading business houses. To facilitate the exhibitors, NCE has partnered with Hatton National Bank to provide a 12 months’ interest free payment plan to the exhibitors covering the event related costs.
NCE has also partnered with MAC Supply Chain Solutions Ltd and will be offering a range of logistics management services, including free-of-charge 1x40’ HC in total to be used by the exhibitors for their samples and other exhibits to be displayed at the event.
As optional services the NCE has introduced discounted rates for airfares and hotel accommodation. This will be an all-inclusive opportunity for Sri Lankan Exporters who are looking to expand their markets.
The event is organised exclusively by the NCE to showcase the Sri Lankan export products and services. The event will be an ideal platform for Sri Lanka to create awareness among prospective buyers, and consumers, regarding the range of product and service offerings of the country.
The Chamber is confident that this initiative will open up fresh avenues for the country’s exports to reach greater heights by expanding the global market share. Staying true to its greater mission of supporting the country’s export sector, the Chamber is encouraging exporters to join this international event to reach new markets, meet new people and cultures.
