National Chamber and Labour Dept. seminar on “Enhancing Workplace Efficiency and Productivity” tomorrow

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka, in association with the Department of Labour, will hold an exclusive knowledge-sharing session titled “Enhancing Workplace Efficiency and Productivity through Effective Labour Relations” tomorrow (25 February), from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at its Auditorium in Colombo 10.

The resource personnel from the Department of Labour are Labour Commissioner Iresha Udayangani, Labour Officer – Social Dialogue and Workplace Co-operation Promotion Division of Labour W.P. Nimal Weerasinghe, and Labour Officer – Social Dialogue and Workplace Co-operation Promotion Division of Labour K.P.L. Sanjeewa.

This session is designed to provide businesses with valuable insights into key aspects such as building an effective and efficient workplace by improving employee attitudes, basic labour laws for promotion of institutional productivity and efficiency, positive attitudes and employee motivation, new trends in industrial relation in Sri Lanka, management and human resource management, and social dialogue and workplace cooperation.
