As part of the program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and Sri Lanka, The Netherlands Embassy in Sri Lanka is organising a series of webinars, facilitated by the European Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka, to nurture and facilitate the growth of sustainable trade between the two countries.
The first webinar will focus on “Creating new connections and supporting sustainable trade and investment between the Netherlands and Sri Lanka” and will be held via Zoom on Tuesday 25 January 2022.
The online discussion will unlock opportunities to grow sustainable trade between the two countries by introducing the key agencies and organisations that provide guidance and practical support to entrepreneurs and companies seeking connections, partners and investors.
The webinar will be useful for interested organisations and entrepreneurs in, or already working in Sri Lanka.
An eminent panel of speakers will address the webinar, namely, Board of Investment of Sri Lanka Chairman Eng. Raja A. Edirisuriya, Board of Investment of Sri Lanka Executive Director – Investment Promotion Prasanjith Wijayatilake, Export Development Board Sri Lanka Director – Market Development Anoma Premathilake, Sri Lanka Benelux Business Council President Maahen Kariyawasan, and Invest International in the Netherlands Investment Manager Miriam Valstar.
All questions on how to find and establish connections and the support required by the business community and where to get it, will be answered during the Q&A session after the panel discussion.
