Nivard meets business leaders

Ajith Nivard Cabraal yesterday met business leaders in his first formal engagement since being appointed as Governor of the Central Bank.

“Had a very fruitful meeting with heads of major corporate sector institutions,” Cabraal said following the meeting. “Central Bank appreciates their support towards the effort of strengthening macroeconomic stability. Will encourage the regular engagement with them,” he added in a tweet.
