Nominations open for National Logistics and Transport Excellence Awards 2018

Nominations are now being accepted for the first-ever National Logistics and Transport Excellence Awards – 2018 organised by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Sri Lanka (CILT Sri Lanka). The awards ceremony will be held at The Kingsbury, Colombo, on Tuesday, 17 July.

The logistics and transport industry is a vital component of the Sri Lankan economy and, as the leading international professional body for the industry, CILT Sri Lanka wishes to recognise and celebrate the exceptional and valuable contributions that organisations and individuals have made to take the industry to new heights thereby uplifting the national economy.

National Logistics and Transport Excellence Awards – 2018 by CILT Sri Lanka has two categories, namely individual and corporate. The award for the individual category will be a lifetime achievement award, ‘CILT Sri Lanka Pinnacle Award – 2018’ bestowed on an individual who has an outstanding track record in the logistics and transport industry. 

Similarly, there will be three awards under the corporate category to recognise the most outstanding organisations in the logistics and transport industry. The three corporate awards will represent large, medium, and small categories.  Entry criterion for large, medium, and small categories will be the annual audited turnover above Rs. 751 million, between Rs. 251 and 750 million, and less than Rs. 250 million respectively.

Logistics and Transport Scholarships – 2018

Logistics and Transport education would be the key to capacity building efforts. Therefore, CILT Sri Lanka wishes to offer academic scholarships. 

Under the scholarship program, CILT Sri Lanka declared that a variety of scholarships will be offered for study courses in Logistics and Transport at Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate Degree levels.
