At a time of a global pandemic, a US election, changing dynamics in Europe, instability in Africa and a rediscovery of economic models in Asia (not to forget a recent signing of the largest trade deal in history: RCEP), it is safe to conclude that the global business map as we know it has been reshaped. Hence decision makers in multiple functions across a plethora of industries are left with the mindboggling question of “How do I navigate my international business strategy in this turbulent environment?”

The first Monthly Montage: New Frontier online discussion from PIM dedicated to the discipline international business under the theme of ‘Navigating the Reshaped Global Business Map’ exploring the above developments and more is to be held on 3 December from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. where the participants can join via Zoom or follow the program via the FB Live Telecast on the PIM Facebook page facebook.com/pim.sjp. It will be moderated by PIM Director Professor Ajantha Dharmasiri, while the panellists will be a specialist in international business, PIM Head of Academic Affairs Dr. Trevor Mendis, and DIMO Lanka Executive Director/Chief Marketing Officer Asanga Ranasinghe.

The PIM Monthly Montage online discussion series is being launched under the guidance and leadership of Professor Ajantha Dharmasiri. He will be the moderator for the discussion series where his wealth of experience will be set in motion in critically questioning the panellists to get the best insights from them. He believes these are all small yet significant steps in the vision of PIM towards becoming a Centre of Management Excellence in South Asia.
