PM visits De La Rue Currency Printers

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday visited De La Rue Currency Printers Lanka Ltd, which he said had undertaken printing several denominations of currency notes to mark the 70th anniversary of Sri Lanka’s independence. State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardene and British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka James Dauris accompanied the Prime Minister. In 1986 Wickremesinghe was responsible for attracting De La Rue to the Biyagama Export Processing Zone. The Prime Minister said De La Rue will print the ePassport
