The Plastics and Rubber Institute of Sri Lanka (PRISL) recently concluded a highly informative and well attended 1-day workshop, under the timely theme, “Revitalising the industry, smart energy, lean costs, brighter future” with the assistance of the Sri Lanka Energy Managers Association.
PRISL President P.P. Perera delivered the welcome address and the keynote speech was given by the Ministry of Industries Polymer Advisory Council Chairman Kaushal Rajapaksa.
The proceedings were conducted by the eminent professionals Dr. Tilak Siyambalapitiya, Eng. Chamila Delpitiya, Eng, Ronald Comester, and Eng. Ananda Namal.
The topics delivered generated a high level of interest and lively discussions between the 72 participants and the resource personnel.
PRISL said it will continue to play its pristine role as the “trusted knowledge partner to the polymer industry in Sri Lanka”, by organising similar workshops and conferences, which will help in capacity building and enhance professionalism, as these are the national needs of the hour.
