Remittances from migrant workers overseas are a vital lifeline for Sri Lanka’s economy. As one of the trusted banks for Sri Lankans overseas, Pan Asia Bank’s remittance service also offers Sri Lankan workers abroad a legitimate, safe and hassle-free experience in sending money to their loved ones back home in Sri Lanka. Workers overseas can send their remittances through one of the bank’s remittance partners in their countries – Western Union, Ria, or Small World – as over-the-counter cash pickups for loved ones back home in Sri Lanka.

The Bank is also playing a key role in bringing in precious foreign exchange into the country at a critical time in the nation’s economic recovery. Our immediate focus is to expand usage of our remittance transfer partners by workers overseas as our branches are strategically located for easy access across the country.”
Pan Asia Bank is partnered with Western Union for both account credit and over the counter cash pickups through its branch network; Ria, for over-the-counter cash pickup through its branch network; Small World as Account credit facility only for remittances from Europe and UK and Ansari from the UAE only; while Terrapay as account credit facility only from anywhere in the world.
Moreover, as a way of rewarding and engaging its remittance customers, Pan Asia Bank has launched a new promotion wherein the customers win Rs. 50,000 worth of gift vouchers every month. This promotion will continue till 31 December.
