Pentium 2000 Stationaries wins FCCISL gold and silver awards

Pentium 2000 Stationaries Ltd. Managing Director Jagath Dissanayake secured a gold award in the large-scale category for the Central Province and a silver award at the national level at the award ceremony staged by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industries of Sri Lanka (FCCISL) held at the BMICH.

“I thank all the staff who have contributed their valuable effort to help me achieve this goal. It should be noted that the secret behind this victory was none other than our customers who have counted on us and the quality products,» said Dissanayake.

Pentium 2000 Stationaries Ltd. was started in 2000 (www.pentium2000.lk) under 300 projects initiated by the Board of Investment. At its inception, it manufactured pastels and watercolors before moving on to its current business of producing and distributing over 60 varieties of stationery. Binder gum, school gum, office gum, fabric paints, natural clay, paintbrushes, powder colours, fabric paint and shoe polish are some of the company’s products. 

Dissanayake has effectively created more than 500 job opportunities as the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Central Province and President of the Exporter’s Chamber of the Central Province. He functions as a director at many other governmental and non-governmental institutes. Having realised the function of social responsibilities and social welfare, he works as a dedicated entrepreneur for the country’s children.
