All pharmacies will be open today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in areas which are not classified as high risk or under isolation, the Government said yesterday.

According to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office, the Presidential Task Force on Essential Services has decided that pharmacies in the high risk districts and isolated areas will function only via internet and phone transactions with the medication being delivered to the patients’ residences.

The National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) has issued a directive to this effect and issued guidelines for the pharmacies to follow during business hours, the press release added.
