Leading real estate company Prime Lands Residencies PLC announced the appointment of Noel Joseph to the Company’s Board of Directors. He has joined as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 29 October.
Noel is a celebrated Engineer and Consultant possessing over 32 years of experience in the field of engineering and engineering consultancy in both Sri Lanka and overseas. Over the course of his expansive career, he founded and steered NJ Consultants, a top-tier, multi-disciplinary engineering firm in Sri Lanka, to the highest ranks with a strong portfolio of over 200+ major developments.
Under his expert leadership, NJ Consultants counts several notable hospitality-focused and industrial developments across the globe to its name, including the Ritz Carlton – Maldives, Cheval Blanc Randheli – Maldives, Altex EPZ – Kenya, EAM Maliban Textile project in Jordan, Soorty Textiles – Bangladesh and LT Karle India amongst others. Noel continues to serve at the helm of NJ Consultants and CAD Team as Managing Director.
His portfolio is further strengthened with experience gathered at the senior positions in organisations such as the State Engineering Corporation, Development Consultants Lanka Pvt Ltd, Safari Company Ltd in Saudi Arabia and Baharudden P.M.S. Associates in Brunei.
Noel is also a Member of the Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (MIEEE) USA, Institute of Lighting Engineers (MILE) UK, the Illumination Engineering Society (MIES) USA, an Incorporated Engineer IEng) UK, The Institute of Engineering Technology (MIET) UK, The Institute of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (MASHRA). He currently serves on the Board of Regnis (Lanka) PLC, Singer Industries (Ceylon) PLC, and On’Ally Holdings PLC.
The Prime Lands Residencies PLC Board of Directors now comprises Premalal Brahmanage (Co-Chairman), Sandamini Perera (Co-Chairperson), Manjula Weerakody (MD), Nalinda Heenatigala, Mahinda Perera, Deepal Sooriyaarachchi, Dhammika Kalapuge, Sanjaya Bandara, Shehana Brahmanage and Noel Joseph.
