Organised by the Sri Lanka Food Processors Association (SLFPA) and Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services Ltd (LECS) the three-day exhibition is endorsed and supported by the Ministry of Industries, the National Agribusiness Council, and the Institute of Food Science and Technology Sri Lanka.
This landmark event is set to bring together industry leaders, stakeholders, and decision makers in the agriculture, food processing, packaging, sectors and importantly the academia who bring in new insights to the food science fraternity.
As the largest trade fair in Sri Lanka dedicated to agriculture, food, beverage, and packaging, the Profood Propack & Agbiz Exhibition has significantly contributed to the macroeconomic growth of the country. The exhibition serves as a catalyst for the overall development of the food processing industry, creating diverse business opportunities and driving investments and exports.
The exhibition offers numerous opportunities for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to display and promote their products. SMEs play a vital role in the industry’s growth, and this event enables them to gain exposure, build relationships, and explore potential collaborations with key stakeholders.
The exhibition aims to cover the entire spectrum of the industry under one roof, with a theme centred around “Farm to Fork.” It will feature a wide range of products, services, and innovations related to agriculture, processed food, beverage, and packaging. Concurrent events have been planned to further promote and market the exhibition, making it an unmissable event for all organisations and individuals involved in these sectors.
The event serves as a platform to increase future sales, establish valuable relationships with buyer groups and key officials, and attract potential joint ventures and tie-ups with international buyers. Interacting with industry leaders from both the public and private sectors enables participants to stay abreast of the latest innovations in the agriculture, food processing, and packaging industries.
With over 5,000 industry buyers expected to attend, the exhibition provides ample business opportunities. Moreover, exhibitors have the unique advantage of allowing potential customers to experience their products first-hand through touch, feel, and taste, ensuring a memorable and engaging interaction.
The exhibition expects to attract key industry stakeholders and decision makers, including exporters, small and medium entrepreneurs, procurement staff from supermarkets and hotels, government officials, farmers, and the general public. The Organises invite you to visit the exhibition and gain maximum benefit out of it.
