Pushpika Janadheera to be MD at Dipped Products from January

Dipped Products PLC (DPL) has announced that R.H. Pushpika Janadheera will be appointed as the Managing Director of DPL with effect from 1 January 2023.

Janadheera joined DPL in 2017 as Director Operations and was appointed as Deputy Managing Director in 2020, responsible for the operations of the DPL Group Sri Lanka and Thailand entities.

He is a Fellow member of CA Sri Lanka, Associate Member of CIMA- UK, Associate Member of Global Management Accountants (GCMA- UK) and the National Institute of Accountants of Australia.

He holds a BSc in Accountancy (special) degree and an MBA from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

He will replace incumbent Soon Huat Ng who will be based in France as Director Business Excellence, overseeing the expanded European operation of the DPL Group.

In FY22 Dipped Products Group revenue grew by 19% to Rs. 55.3 billion and pre-tax rose by 6% to Rs. 7.6 billion.
