Puttalam District Chamber of Commerce felicitates top 10 entrepreneurs of the district

The Puttalam District Chamber of Commerce together with the FCCISL felicitated 10 businessmen who have done proud by the district as well as at national level. The selection of them was based on their financial situation and the tremendous support they have lent for the uplifting of the standards of society both at provincial and national level, at the recently concluded annual award ceremony of Puttalam District Chamber Of Commerce held in a grand manner at Suriya Resort in Waikkala.

The top 10 Hall of Fame Winners were Balasuriya Hospital Managing Director B.M.A.P. Balasuriya, Prasara Washing Plant Managing Director Dhammika Hapuarachchi, Suriya Resort Chairman Eric Suriyaarachchi, Chuti Duwa Group of Company Chairman M.H.D. Geminious, Weehena Farms Managing Director N.S. Victor, TNR Steel Sri Lanka Chairman Nushan Fernando, Manisha Ltd. Managing Director P.J.A. Fernando, Grand Holiday Resort Managing Director S.A. Nishan Silva, Gospel House Handicrafts Managing Director Shiran Karunaratne and Fatima D.C & Oil Mill Managing Director W.I. Mario Fernando.

These Hall of Fame awards recognise their service through their entrepreneurial and leadership acumen, and it is a testimonial to their devotion to the respective sectors in the North Western Province as well as nationally.

Speaking on the achievement, the relevant entrepreneurs remarked: “This award reflects on the hard work and effort put into maintaining and prevailing the quality of standards and services of our organisation.
