The Royal Commonwealth Society, Sri Lanka (RCSSL) will host the very first in a series of interactive sessions, envisaged with the High Commissioners of the Commonwealth Countries in Sri Lanka, at Hotel Galadari on 14 October at 4 p.m.

This first session will be with High Commissioner of Australia to Sri Lanka David Holly, where the participants can interact in a dialogue with the High Commissioner while enjoying the high tea buffet spread laid out in the hotel’s inner foyer.
The Royal Commonwealth Society, Sri Lanka (RCSSL) embarked on this novel concept with a view to enhance the business relations and also to explore and interchange ideas that could improve business confidence for new business opportunities in the respective countries, in an era where countries are battling amidst COVID-19.
The Royal Commonwealth Society is a network of individuals and organisations founded in 1868 in London, committed to improving its lives and prospects of Commonwealth citizens across the world.
The Royal Commonwealth Society Sri Lanka (RCSSL) was incorporated in 1949 at the London Declaration, along with India and Pakistan with the head of state as its Deputy Patron. In keeping with the theme of RCS, the RCS Sri Lanka has been involved in fostering and sponsoring greater interaction of people, and has been involved in many charitable services.
It is non-partisan, independent of Government and is supported by public generosity. The society engages with youth, civil society, business and Government networks to address issues that matter to the citizens of the Commonwealth countries. There are currently 53 member states with a combined population of 2.2 billion; approximately 30% of the world’s population.
