Record price for Concordia Estate

Concordia Estate situated in Kandapola which sells its produce under the ‘Kenmare’ mark established an all-time record price for a BP grade by obtaining a price of Rs. 830 per kg at the historic, first-ever online Colombo tea auction held this week.

This invoice was purchased by Swiss Singapore Overseas Enterprises Ltd., a leading buyer.

Concordia Estate is managed under the purview of Uda Pusselawa plantations which comes under Finlays Tea Estates PLC. The sale of this tea was conducted by tea brokers John Keells PLC.
