Record price for Maratenne and  Oodoowerre teas 

In the Uva Medium category an Invoice of BP sold under the Maratenne Mark of Balangoda Estate realized a record price of Rs. 940 per kg and improved its own record. This tea was bought by Uniworld Teas. Balangoda Estate belongs to Balangoda Plantations PLC, of the Stassen Group. 

In the Uva High Grown category Oodoowerre Estate FBOPF1 grade equalled the All-Record price of Uva High Grown FBOPF1 grade and realised Rs. 1,040 per kg. Oodoowerre Estate is owned by Hapugastenne Plantations PLC, a member of the LOLC Group. This tea was purchased by Inter Tea Ltd.
