At the third e-Auction held on 18-19 April (Sale 14) Finlays Tea Estates PLC’s Oodoowerre Estate, Demodara achieved all-time record price for Uva high grown OP grade by achieving Rs. 850 per kg. This tea was purchased by Akbar Brothers Ltd.
Following their record-breaking performance last week, Oodoowerre equalled to its own record for FBOPF1 grade Rs. 980 set in last week. This tea was purchased by Inter Tea Ltd. Both teas were successfully marketed by Asia Siyaka Commodities PLC.
