Rilhena Special equals BOP1A all-time record

Rilhena Estate, which sells under the selling mark ‘Rilhena Special,’ achieved an equal all-time record price of Rs. 820 per kg for a low-grown BOP1A Grade at the 12th E-auction held on 24 March. This line of tea was marketed by Forbes and Walker Tea Brokers who exclusively markets ‘Rilhena Special’ teas and was purchased by Imperial Teas.

Rilhena Estate is situated in Ganegama – Pelmadulla in the Sabaragamuwa Region. It is managed by Kahawatte Plantations PLC and is ISO 22000:2005 certified.
